What a Helper partner's week actually looks like

6 min read · July 2, 2026

A realistic hour-by-hour view of running a territory: recruitment, quality checks, KPI reporting, and how much of it is automated.

Franchise brochures love the phrase “be your own boss” and hate specifics. Here is a real week in a Helper territory, in hours.

Monday — the queue

Head office has already reviewed and released weekend quotes. You check the territory queue, confirm helper assignments for the week, and flag any job that needs a site visit. About an hour.

Tuesday to Thursday — quality and recruitment

Two ride-alongs or spot checks, plus interviews from the recruitment funnel. The scripts and scorecards come with the manual, so you're not writing job ads or interview questions from scratch.

Friday — numbers

Client follow-ups on anything flagged, then a look at the KPI dashboard. Reporting itself is a form: revenue, jobs, active clients, retention, NPS and certified helpers. Validation catches inconsistent numbers before you submit.

Month end — reporting and review

Submit KPIs by the deadline, then head office aggregates and sends back a branded summary with trends and recommended actions. You can download it as a PDF from your dashboard any time.

What's automated

Deadline reminders, notification alerts, monthly performance reviews, receipts and client emails all fire on their own. Your inbox tells you what needs a human.

The takeaway

Expect roughly 10–15 focused hours a week on people and quality — the admin, billing and reporting run themselves.
