What does non-medical home care actually include?

Companionship, homemaking, meal preparation, laundry, errands, appointment company, respite for family caregivers and overnight presence. It is practical, everyday support — not health care.

What does it cost in Prince George?

Care is quoted for each family rather than posted as a public rate. Tell us the type of support, how many hours and how often, and we email your written price — the same way our cleaning quotes work. There is a three-hour minimum per visit, and weekly plans of 12 or more hours save up to 15%.

Yes — three hours per visit. It keeps the visit useful for the client and lets us pay caregivers a fair, predictable shift.

Do you provide medical or nursing care?

No. We do not give medication, provide wound care, perform clinical assessments or handle any task that requires a licensed health professional. If a need crosses that line we will say so and point you to Northern Health.

Can we get the same caregiver each time?

How is it billed?

Hours are billed to the card on file after each week of service, with an itemised invoice by email. Recurring plans can be paused with 48 hours' notice.

Can I pay for a parent's care as a gift?

Yes. Home-care hours can be bought as a gift certificate and applied to any plan — a common way for families out of town to support a parent in Prince George.
