The-Helper Community Fund

Small charities. Big hearts. Real neighbours.

We clean homes for a living — and we clean for free, and pay forward, for the tiny volunteer-run charities of Prince George and British Columbia that nobody writes cheques to.

How we help

We show up with mops, vans and money

The-Helper is a family business. Everything we give comes out of our own hours and your donations — never out of a client's invoice.

  • We clean it, free

Every month our crews donate professional cleans to transitional suites, hospice homes and community halls. Same supplies, same standard, no invoice.

  • We fund the small ones

Big charities have fundraisers and grant writers. The tiny ones don't. The-Helper Community Fund exists for the volunteer-run groups nobody has heard of.

  • We pass on 100%

The-Helper covers the card processing cost out of our own pocket. The whole amount you give is released to the cause you chose.

How you can help

Five easy ways, none of them cost much

You don't have to be wealthy to change a week for someone. Most of our fund is built from $15 and $25 gifts.

  • Give once, or set up a small monthly gift that quietly adds up.
  • Choose a cause — or let us send it wherever the need is most urgent.
  • Add a donation to your next clean and we'll match a portion of it in donated labour.
  • Volunteer a Saturday with our crew on a community clean-up day.
  • Nominate a small charity you love — if it's local and real, we'll add it here.
