How it works, step by step
1. Set up your reseller account
Press Auto set up and we fill in your company, contact, payout details, Bronze tier pricing and default markup from the company you are signed in to. You can change any of it afterwards.
2. Read and accept the agreement
The full reseller agreement is on this page. Read it, print or save a copy, then tick accept. Nothing can be provisioned under your brand until it is accepted.
3. We approve you
Applications are reviewed by The-Helper head admin, normally within one business day. You will get an email at your contact address when the status flips to Active.
4. Brand it as yours
Turn on the White label add-on so clients see your name, logo, colours, portal domain and sending address instead of Helper's. Silver and Gold get it free.
5. Add client accounts
Record each client, the app and plan they are on, what you pay and what you charge. The app tracks your margin and renewal dates for you.
6. Get paid
Your commission builds up as clients renew. Payouts are recorded on this page — Bronze on request, Silver quarterly, Gold monthly.

You can

- • Claim to be Helper, or that you built the software.
- • Resell to a client who already has a direct account with Helper without telling us.
- • Copy, decompile, re-host or resell the source code itself.
- • Advertise using Helper's name in paid search or bid on our brand terms.
- • Promise features, dates or service levels that are not in this agreement.

THE-HELPER APPS RESELLER AGREEMENT Between: The-Helper (British Columbia, Canada), the "Supplier". And: [Your company name], contact [Your contact email], the "Reseller". Date: 2026-09-12 Tier: Bronze — 20% wholesale discount, 10% recurring commission, billed in CAD. 1. WHAT THIS COVERS 1.1 The Supplier makes business software available at the-helper.ca/apps (the "Apps"). 1.2 The Supplier appoints the Reseller as a non-exclusive reseller of the Apps. 1.3 The Reseller may sell the Apps to its own clients anywhere the Reseller lawfully trades. 2. APPROVAL 2.1 This agreement takes effect when the Reseller accepts it and the Supplier approves the Reseller's application. 2.2 The Supplier may decline or revoke an application at its discretion, acting reasonably. 2.3 Until approval, no client account may be provisioned under the Reseller's brand. 3. PRICING AND PAYMENT 3.1 The Reseller buys licences at 20% off the Supplier's published list price. 3.2 The Reseller sets its own retail price. The Supplier does not set, cap or floor it. 3.3 The Reseller receives 10% recurring commission on the net amounts it keeps billing for renewals. 3.4 Amounts are exclusive of GST and any other tax. Each party handles its own taxes. 3.5 Payouts: Bronze on request, Silver quarterly, Gold monthly within 10 days of period close. 3.6 Tiers move automatically with live client count: 1 client Bronze, 5 clients Silver, 20 clients Gold. 4. BRAND AND WHITE LABEL 4.1 The Reseller may present the Apps under its own name, logo, colours, domain and sending address. 4.2 The Reseller must not state or imply that it is the Supplier, or that it wrote the software. 4.3 The Reseller must not bid on the Supplier's brand terms in paid advertising. 4.4 The Supplier grants no rights in its trade marks other than as needed to sell the Apps. 5. THE RESELLER'S OBLIGATIONS 5.1 Be honest about what the Apps do; do not promise features, dates or service levels not offered. 5.2 Provide first-line support to its own clients. 5.3 Keep client data secure and comply with applicable privacy law, including PIPEDA in Canada. 5.4 Not copy, decompile, re-host, or resell the source code of the Apps. 5.5 Tell the Supplier if a prospective client already holds a direct account with the Supplier. 6. THE SUPPLIER'S OBLIGATIONS 6.1 Keep the Apps available and maintained, with second-line support to the Reseller. 6.2 Give at least 30 days' notice of a list price change affecting the Reseller's wholesale cost. 6.3 Not approach the Reseller's clients directly for the same software while this agreement is live. 7. DATA 7.1 Client data belongs to the client. Neither party sells it. 7.2 The Supplier processes client data only to run the Apps and support the Reseller. 7.3 On termination, client data is exportable for 60 days before deletion. 8. TERM AND TERMINATION 8.1 This agreement runs until either party ends it on 30 days' written notice. 8.2 Either party may end it immediately for material breach that is not fixed within 14 days. 8.3 On termination, the Reseller's clients either move to direct billing with the Supplier or to another reseller the Reseller nominates and the client accepts. 8.4 Commission stops at termination; amounts already earned are still paid. 9. LIABILITY 9.1 Neither party is liable for indirect or consequential loss. 9.2 Each party's total liability in any 12-month period is limited to the fees paid between them in that period. 9.3 Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited by law. 10. GENERAL 10.1 The Reseller is an independent contractor, not an agent, employee, partner or franchisee. 10.2 This agreement is the whole agreement between the parties on this subject. 10.3 Changes must be recorded in the Reseller's app account and accepted again. 10.4 This agreement is governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada. Reseller questions
Does reselling need approval?
Yes. You can set everything up and accept the agreement straight away, but client accounts are only provisioned under your brand once The-Helper head admin approves your application. That review normally takes one business day.
How do I move up a tier?
Tiers are based on live client accounts you have billing through you: 1 for Bronze, 5 for Silver, 20 for Gold. When your client list crosses a threshold the higher tier is applied on your next renewal — you do not need to ask.
Who bills the client?
You do. You buy licences at your wholesale rate, set your own price, and invoice your client with your own quote or invoice from the apps. Helper never contacts your client unless you ask us to.
Who supports the client?
You are first line. Anything you cannot solve, send to us and we help you behind the scenes so the client only ever hears from your brand.
What does it cost to be a reseller?
The Reseller toolkit add-on is $29/month and is bought in your app account. Silver and Gold get it back as part of the tier. There is no joining fee and no minimum spend.
Can I stop?
Yes, with 30 days' notice in writing. Your clients keep working; their accounts either transfer to direct billing with Helper or to another reseller you nominate.
