Questions about Medical Helper App
Do I have to set anything up before I can use it?
Yes, one short step. The first time you open the app it asks what kind of practice you run — clinic, dental, veterinary, therapy, optometry, allied health or other — and which areas you use. Everything else stays locked until that is answered, because it decides the wording, the intake forms and which menus appear. It takes about a minute and you can change it any time in Practice settings.
Does the AI replace clinical judgement?
No. Everything it produces is decision support for a qualified clinician to review — it drafts, summarises and flags, you decide.
How are phone and video visits handled?
Each appointment can be marked in person, phone or video, and carries its own private meeting link you can copy to the patient.
Can I buy it outright?
This app is subscription only — monthly, 6 months or yearly — because it includes free AI credits every month and continuous clinical updates.
