Terms of service
Applies to The-Helper Digital Services only — the cleaning and home care business has its own policies.
Scope of work
Each project is delivered against the written scope in your package or quote. Work outside that scope is quoted separately and only begins once you approve it in writing.
Payment
All prices are in Canadian dollars and are processed by Stripe. You may pay the project price in full, or pay a 50% deposit to begin with the balance invoiced before launch.
Care plans are billed monthly in advance and continue until you cancel. Applicable taxes are added at checkout.
Your responsibilities
You provide content, images, brand assets and any account access we need. Delays in receiving these move the delivery date by the same amount of time.
You confirm you have the right to use everything you supply to us.
Revisions
Each package includes the number of revision rounds listed on its page. Additional rounds are billed at our standard hourly rate, quoted before we start.
Ownership
On final payment you own the finished website or application, its content and its domain. We retain ownership of any reusable internal libraries and may reference the project in our portfolio unless you ask us not to.
Third-party services
Domains, email, and third-party subscriptions such as payment providers are billed by those providers directly. We configure them; we do not control their pricing or uptime.
Liability
We deliver work with reasonable skill and care but cannot guarantee specific business outcomes, search rankings or revenue. Our total liability is limited to the fees you paid for the affected project.
Termination
Either party may end a project in writing. You pay for work completed up to that point; deposits cover work already scheduled and performed.
